Here at the Tauernalm, culinary delicacies meet a special ambience to feel good. Our restaurant is unique in the Schladming-Dachstein region and was built exclusively from local spruce wood. The power of this natural material is clearly noticeable and conveys a pleasant sense of comfort. The natural construction method is also an expression of our closeness to nature.

During the day

The Tauernalm is a day and evening restaurant with a varied menu. Regional delicacies, classic home cooking meets national classics and international specialties. In the stylish alpine style of the Tauernalm, the culinary advantages of our cuisine are combined with the cosy atmosphere of the restaurant. Simply inviting!

The Restaurant Tauernalm is open from 10 am. Warm kitchen from 11 am to 9 pm. In the afternoon a delicious selection of cakes and tarts awaits you.

In the evening relax and enjoy

The Tauernalm offers a very inviting range of activities for a cosy get-together with friends or a romantic evening for two. 
From 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. the menu plays all the tricks and spoils the palate with delicious regional, national and also international specialities. If you would like to have a drink afterwards, our 3 bars are perfect for you and from 21.30 hrs there is also a dance floor available to round off the evening in a swinging way.
